Laptop power jack weakness

A weak part of laptops is the power connector. You only have to stumble once over the power cord and the power jack is broken. When the power socket on a laptop is damaged, it is expensive to repair. The whole laptop must be taken apart.

Laptop power cord strain relief with Velcro strap

I protect the power socket of my laptop with a strain relief made of Velcro strap. The power cord is relieved through a loop of Velcro strap, which is glued to the laptop.
